The legend lives on. Bobby Brooks Wilson, the son of R&B/Soul singer Jackie Wilson, will perform the music made famous by his father as well as his own original tunes as the Davie County Arts Council presents “Jackie Wilson; The Legend Continues” on Saturday, March 25th at  7:30 p.m.

This concert is part of the Seasons of Applause series at the Brock Performing Arts Center, located at 622 N. Main St. in Mocksville. Tickets are on sale now!

Jackie Wilson’s Legacy Lives on

Bobby has the same amazing traits and talents as his father, and many say Jackie Wilson’s legacy lives on through him. His adoring fans have dubbed him “‘Mr. Entertainment” from his natural ability to entertain and bring crowds to life.

Wilson describes his concerts as the ultimate display of himself as an artist, featuring several covers of Motown classics, a special tribute to his father, including stories behind the specific songs he performs, as well as original tunes from his own albums, the most recent entitled Just About Time.
