On June 17, Congressman McDowell extended his congratulations to Ms. Prakruthi Upadhya for earning the Congressional Award Gold Medal. He stated, “Congratulations to Ms. Prakruthi Upadhya on earning the Congressional Award Gold Medal! This honor reflects the hundreds of hours she has committed to public service and personal growth. We are lucky to have young leaders like her in our community!”
The following day, June 18, he highlighted his visit to Caffey Distributing, a longstanding business in the Triad area. He remarked on their contributions by stating, “Caffey Distributing has been keeping the cold ones stocked in the Triad for over 80 years. Great to tour their facility and hear from President Mark Bowen about how this locally built operation supports jobs, families, and small businesses across our community.”
Later that same day, Congressman McDowell expressed his commitment to advancing legislation with a tweet about an upcoming bill. He asserted that “The One Big Beautiful Bill is how we fight back. We will get the One Big Beautiful Bill to @POTUS’s desk for him to sign into law.”
