The following day, on February 16, 2026, he marked Presidents’ Day by referencing several former U.S. presidents in a post that read: “From Washington’s resolve to Lincoln’s courage — and Reagan’s conviction to President Trump’s America First strength. Our leaders have built the land of the free and the home of the brave. Happy Presidents’ Day!”

On February 17, 2026, Congressman McDowell posted another message stating: “Proud member of Sharia-Free America!”
