Carolina University’s baseball team claimed a decisive victory of 10-5 over Bob Jones University in the first game of their final series for the season on April 25, 2025. Scheduled at Conestee Park, the clash showcased a strong offensive display by Carolina University with 13 hits compared to Bob Jones University’s 6.

The team managed to seize the lead in the fourth inning and held onto it for the remainder of the game. Notable performances included Peyton Banks, Danny Gonzales, Alexis Fontanez, and Luke Daniels from Carolina University. Alex Fontanez contributed with a home run and a double, while Gonzales accumulated three RBIs with a triple. Luke Daniels also added weight with three hits, including two doubles. Bob Jones University saw efforts from M. Carroll and C. Kirkpatri.

Caden Ross secured the win as the pitcher for Carolina University, and Landon Johnson achieved a save. Meanwhile, T. Padgett took a loss for Bob Jones University.

The final two games of the series were canceled due to rain, effectively ending Carolina University’s baseball season prematurely. This was the last game for the team’s seniors, who received thanks from coaching staff and support from Bruin fans for the season. “The team and coaching staff would like to extend their gratitude to the Bruin fans for their support throughout the season.
