Carolina University faced a tough volleyball weekend at Williams Gymnasium, as they hosted matches against Life University and Talladega College.

On April 4, Carolina University played against Life University, succumbing to a 4-set defeat. The scores were 25-14, 25-27, 25-17, and 25-13 in favor of Life University. “Carolina University’s Kai Jamerson distributed 31 assists throughout the match,” highlighting his contribution. Despite Carolina’s efforts, Life University maintained a hitting percentage of .368, overpowering Carolina’s .172.

In the subsequent match on April 5, Carolina University went against Talladega College, who won with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-18, and 25-15. “Talladega College showcased a strong start with a .444 hitting percentage,” demonstrating their dominance in the opening set. Carolina fought back to level the score in the second set, yet Talladega College secured the overall match victory.

Notable performances included Carolina University’s Kai Jamerson with 31 assists against Life University and 26 assists in the Talladega College match. Moses Nix and Jashawn Sykes also made significant contributions to their team. Meanwhile, Love-let Blake and Richard Holloman III stood out for Talladega College.

Carolina University’s next home game is scheduled for April 8 against Regent. The event will feature a senior recognition for Wesley Diggs.
