Ledford Senior High School standout Averee Atkins’ college team lost in NCAA Division I softball game on Saturday, April 5

On Saturday, April 5, former Ledford Senior High School standout Averee Atkins’ current college team, the Radford Highlanders, lost 3-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Charleston Southern Buccaneers.

The game took place at CSU Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Highlanders’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 4 p.m. at Radford Softball Stadium against UNC Greensboro Spartans.
