On Monday, April 14, former Oak Grove High School standout Alissa Russ’ current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, won 13-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the King Tornado.

The game took place at McCrorie Family Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Tornado this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 1 p.m. at McCrorie Family Stadium against Carson-Newman Eagles.
