On Friday, April 11, former Davie County High School standout Davin Whitaker’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, lost 6-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Charlotte 49ers.

The game took place at Hayes Stadium. This was their first matchup against the 49ers this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 4 p.m. at Hayes Stadium against Charlotte 49ers.
