On Wednesday, April 2, former Davie County High School standout London Dirks’ current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, lost 11-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Carolina Tar Heels.

The game took place at Anderson Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Tar Heels this season.

The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 5 p.m. at Collins Family Softball Complex against Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
