Regent University emerged victorious in a volleyball match against Carolina University, with a final score of 3-1 on April 8, 2025, at Williams Gymnasium. The sets were closely contested, ending with scores of 25-20, 25-23, 20-25, and 25-20.

The match displayed strong offensive and defensive strategies from both teams. Regent University maintained consistency in the initial two sets while Carolina University won the third set. Regent University secured the match in the fourth set. Throughout the match, there were 22 tie scores and 8 lead changes.

The event also honored Carolina University senior Wesley Diggs, who participated in all four sets.

In terms of performances, Jashawn Sykes from Carolina University was the top scorer with 14 kills, and Kai Jamerson provided 35 assists. Regent University’s Aaron Campbell contributed 11 kills, while Colby Yawn added 16 assists.

“This match marks the conclusion of the Bruins’ 2025 season.”

The game was characterized by lead changes and tight scores, highlighting the competitive nature between both teams.
