On July 15, 2025, Senator Budd announced a significant federal grant for North Carolina’s Raleigh-Durham International Airport. He wrote, “Great news for North Carolina & all who travel through @RDUAirport! @USDOT has awarded nearly $25M to widen John Brantley Blvd to double the number of lanes to make pick up & drop off easier for passengers at the terminal. I’m grateful to @SecDuffy as this was a top priority”.
