On June 4, 2025, Senator Budd announced “More proof that North Carolina is the best place for businesses to invest & grow.” He detailed Amazon’s new facility and a $10 billion investment expected to bring 500 high-skilled jobs focused on developing artificial intelligence technologies to the state.

Later that day, he shared “Big news from @CommerceGov—the Economic Development Administration has issued its guidance for $1.45 billion for disaster relief funding for communities impacted by recent storms, including Hurricane Helene.” He noted his involvement with his North Carolina delegation colleagues in advocating for this funding.

On June 5, 2025, Senator Budd expressed condolences following an international tragedy. He tweeted “Last night, the @IDF recovered the bodies of Americans Judy Weinstein-Haggai and Gadi Haggai from Gaza. This is nothing short of heartbreaking.” He extended thoughts and prayers to their families while emphasizing the need for continued efforts until all those held by Hamas are released.
