The North Carolina Chamber of Commerce recently named state Sen. Joyce Krawiec (R-Forsyth) a Jobs Champion for her work in the legislature throughout 2019.
"The NC Chamber today named Senator Joyce Krawiec a 2019 Jobs Champion in its annual How They Voted report," reads a Dec. 10 post on Krawiec's Facebook page. "How They Voted details lawmakers’ voting records on key bills identified as critical to preserving and enhancing a positive climate for business and job creation in North Carolina. Sen. Krawiec was recognized as a Jobs Champion for voting with the Chamber’s Jobs Agenda at least 80 percent of the time.”
Krawiec, who is running for reelection to the North Carolina state Senate to represent District 31, is on the ballot for the Republican primary to be held on March 3. She was first appointed to the chamber on Jan. 10, 2014 to replace Peter S. Brunstetter, who resigned on Dec. 15, 2013.
