TOWN OF LEWISSVILLE: From the Mayor (Monday, March 16, 2020): Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

Town of Lewisville issued the following announcement on Mar. 16.

Good Afternoon, Lewisville Residents, While COVID-19 remains a threat throughout Forsyth County, Lewisville Town Council and Staff are exercising additional measures and guidelines to ensure the safety of our community. We have postponed all advisory board and committee meetings for the next 30 days. We are limiting visitor access to Town Hall unless the situation is critical. We are encouraging our residents to contact Town Hall by phone or email. Our parks (Shallowford Square and Jack Warren) will remain open, however; all restroom facilities remain closed until further notice. We will use all of our communication channels (website, Spectrum Channel 6, Facebook and Lewisville Connect) to provide frequent updates and disperse helpful information to our residents. The G. Galloway Reynolds Community Center is closed until further notice. Future reservations for the Community Center or Town Park rentals will not be accepted at this time. We will continue all municipal services to our residents unless the CDC, state or local health department indicates that we need to limit delivery of these services. We encourage our citizens to follow the directives and guidance of local and national health authorities to do all possible to safeguard against this virus. Please know we will take all prudent and appropriate measures to ensure the safety of our residents and staff. We will continue to post updates as available. Stay safe!
