DAVIE COUNTY: Davie County COVID-19 Update for April 15 ,2020

Davie County issued the following announcement on April 15

23 Total lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Davie, including

2 COVID-19 related deaths in Davie

5,123 Total lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases in NC, including

117 COVID-19 related deaths in NC

STAY HOME. Social distancing saves lives. When you must go out, stay AT LEAST 6 FEET APART from everyone else.

  • Of the 23 cases of COVID-19 in Davie County, 10 of the individuals are 65 years of age or older, 7 are 50-64 years of age, 5 are 25-49 years of age, and one is 18-24 years of age.
  • Many people with COVID-19 do not show symptoms, but are still contagious. Stay home, socially distance and wear a face covering when social distancing is difficult, wash your hands, avoid touching your face, clean and disinfect surfaces frequently, and act like everyone is contagious.
