Town of Mocksville recently issued the following announcement.
Bring your family & friends to Downtown Mocksville for a free outdoor showing of Abominable on Saturday, August 21st. The movie will begin at 8:30 p.m. at Main Street Park.
After discovering a Yeti on the roof of her apartment building, teenage Yi and her two friends embark on an epic quest to reunite the magical creature with his family. But to do so, they must stay one step ahead of a wealthy financier and a determined zoologist who want to capture the beast for their own gain. PG — 97 minutes.
Abominable is the final movie that the Town of Mocksville will be hosting this summer.
Please bring your own chair or a blanket for seating. Bring your own snacks or purchase from SCOOP’S Ice Cream, The Factory Coffee House, The Station or another delightful local business.
A PARENT OR GUARDIAN IS REQUIRED TO STAY WITH CHILDREN THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE MOVIE.
