Davie County issued the following announcement on Sept. 7.
The Portal offers new web-based maps and applications to provide greater access to information that may have been difficult to locate or use in the past. The new sites and
applications are designed to be simple and easy to use. The new Aerial Image Viewer allows a visitor to view older aerial imagery from 2004, 2007, 2010, and 2014 in addition to
the 2018 imagery. Different years can be overlaid to show change between the years. The Planning and Development application includes links to onsite wastewater (septic
system) permits. This information was previously available only through a document archive. The new map links permits to addresses to help property owners, real estate
professionals, surveyors and others plan for new construction and development. Other applications include a School Finder, Voting Precinct Finder, and School Demographics
Dashboard. We hope the public finds these new maps and applications useful searching for geographic information about Davie County.
