Davie County issued the following announcement on Sept. 11.
Davie County Senior Services is searching for volunteers for the Meals on Wheels program. Volunteers will take a hot and nutritious meal to some of the most vulnerable in our community, not to mention a smile and companionship along with the meal. Volunteers are the backbone of the Meals on Wheels program and can assist as often as they'd like.
