Davie County issued the following announcement on Sept. 10.
Davie County residents are invited to participate in an informative and interactive conversation. Facilitated by Fountainworks, the goal of the session is to provide a venue for robust conversations that focus on the priorities of the community.
"The Board of Commissioners and county staff appreciate citizen participation and input, and we have a wonderful opportunity for the residents of our community to let us know what is important to them," said Davie County Manager, David Bone. "Davie County will be hosting an open house on Monday, September 27th, and the meeting is being branded as 'Community Conversations'. Involving the community is crucial to continually updating and refining the county’s strategic goals and budgeting priorities, and these 'Community Conversations' will assist us with this goal."
Bone added, " Following the event, Fountainworks will facilitate various online stakeholder focus groups for more in-depth conversations. Fountainworks will collect data from the 'Community Conversations' and focus group reports and will prepare a summary report that will assist the Board of Commissioners in future decisions."
This Community Conversations event will be held on Monday, September 27th from 5:30- 7:30 pm at the Davie County Senior Center, 278 Meroney Street in Mocksville.
