Partners to Host Virtual Events for Forsyth and Davie Residents

Davie County recently issued the following announcement.

Partners Health Management will hold a series of virtual events throughout September and October for residents of Forsyth and Davie counties impacted by the Nov. 1,

2021 transition of intellectual/developmental disability, mental health and substance use disorder service management. The “Welcome to Partners” event series is designed to 

cover the most frequently asked questions about the transition from Cardinal Innovations Healthcare and introduce Partners and its employees to the community. Sessions are available in English and Spanish. To register for an event, please visit www.partnersbhm.org/county-realignment and select the “Member

Events” or “Próximos Eventos” tab to register for the sessions of your choice.

Welcome to Partners: Member and Community Listening Session

Sept. 14, 2021, 6-7:30 p.m. (English)

Sept. 16, 2021, noon-1:30 p.m. (Spanish)

Participants can share thoughts about what is needed to support individuals living with an intellectual/development disability, mental health diagnosis and/or substance use disorder in the community. Individuals whose primary language is Spanish are encouraged to join us on Sept. 16, 2021 from noon1:30 p.m. 6-7:30 p.m.

Learn more about the services that Partners offers in its health plan for members living with an intellectual and/or developmental disability and get answers to questions about county realignment. Individuals whose primary language is Spanish are encouraged to join us on Sept. 30 from 6-7:30 p.m.

Welcome to Partners: Registry of Unmet Needs (English)

Oct. 5, 2021, Noon-1:30 p.m. (English)

Oct. 7, 2021, noon-1:30 p.m. (Spanish)

The Registry of Unmet Needs is a waiting list for a spot (also known as a slot) on the NC Innovations Waiver, which covers services for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Information will be shared for those on the registry who are transitioning to Partners, as well as information on how a person can be added to the registry.

Individuals whose primary language is Spanish are encouraged to join us on Oct. 7, 2021 from noon-1:30 p.m.

Welcome to Partners: Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder Services Overview

Oct. 12, 2021, 6-7:30 p.m. (English)

Oct. 14, 2021, noon-1:30 p.m. (Spanish)

Partners will share information about the mental health and substance use disorder services available in our health plans and answer questions about county realignment.

Individuals whose primary language is Spanish are encouraged to join us on Oct. 14, 2021 from noon 1:30 p.m. Over the past three months, Partners has held similar sessions for residents of Cabarrus, Stanly and

Union counties. The events are available for on-demand viewing at www.partnersbhm.org/countyrealignment. Residents of Cabarrus, Stanly and Union counties who receive intellectual/developmental disability, mental health and substance use disorder services through Cardinal now have their services managed by Partners. Residents who would like to learn more or have questions about the Nov. 1, 2021, transition from Cardinal Innovations to Partners are welcome to call 1-833-589-2184 or email CountyQuestions@partnersbhm.org.
