Town of Mocksville recently issued the following announcement.
Saturday, December 11th, beginning at noon.
A delightful day of holiday fun for the young and the young-at-heart can be found at Main Street Park.
- Noon – 2 p.m – Traveling Storybook – Children will enjoy reading the charming winter tale, One Snowy Day, page by page as they journey through Historic Downtown Mocksville. The story will begin at Main Street Park and continue at each downtown merchant.
- Noon – 4 p.m. – Ice Sculpting – You will be in awe as Chef Al Romano, owner of Fire and Ice, and his crew carve, chisel, and shape simple blocks of ice into stunning works of art.
- Noon- 4 p.m. – Sounds of the Season – Barry Rentz and his Mobile Jukebox will be downtown playing all of your favorite holiday hits.
- 6 – 7:30 p.m. – The Christmas classics will take on a bluegrass flair as the Two Pickers, Eva & Danny Casstevens, take center stage outside of the Artist Market on Main.
