The Next Mocksville Cruise-in Will Be Held on Monday, July 4TH

Cammmm

The Town of Mocksville has given permission to use the old Police department's parking lot

(This is not an official PAPA event)

Since PAPA will not be hosting a show or parade for the 4th of July weekend our members have been graciously invited by the president of the DC Cruisers Car Club to come out and display our tractors & equipment at their car show. The next Mocksville Cruise-In will be held on Monday, July 4th, 2022.

The cruisers would like tractors/engines to be displayed at the town's old Police department's parking lot, however, we are not allowed to park on the grass. We are planning on setting up around 2pm since Monday is a holiday and most businesses will be closed. If you would like to participate in Cooleemee's parade you have time to do that as well. As of now if you decide to haul your tractor you can park at the rear of Eatons Funeral Home in their parking lot just be courteous if they have any visitors (Subject to change).

The public is invited to come out and bring/see the antique equipment on display, especially for the kids who will be missing out on this year's parade.

For the kids, we will be selling tickets for a pedal tractor raffle. First Prize will be a John Deere 4430 Pedal Tractor, Second Place Bruder 1/16 Diecast Replica, and 3rd Place a $25 Walmart Giftcard. Tickets for the Kids Raffle are 1 for $1, 6 for $5, or 12 for $10.

We will also be selling raffle tickets on the club's 1948 Ford 8N. Tickets are $1 each. First Prize will be a Show Quality 1948 Ford 8N or $2,000. Second Place will be $500. Both drawings will be held on Saturday, October 1st, 2022 at Farmington Community Centers' annual fall fest at 2pm.

Please Share and let me know if you plan on bringing anything so I can get the DC Cruisers an accurate count on how many tractors/engines are expected.
