Give the gift of life. The Mocksville Fire Department is hosting a blood drive on Friday, September 29th from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The drive will be held in the big red bus that will be located outside the fire department at 335 Sanford Avenue.
Donors will receive a $20 e-gift card, cancer awareness t-shirt and socks, and a wellness checkup including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol screening.
“Giving blood will cost you nothing, but it will save a life!” said Mocksville Fire Chief Frank Carter. He hopes the community will come out and fill every available time slot.
