This celebration has become an annual tradition and a wonderful experience for kids,” said Chuck Taylor, who is organizing the efforts of the North Main Street residents.“Last year, we estimated that over 5,000 people came downtown and enjoyed the experience. There were so many people that many residents ran out of candy.”

Taylor is grateful to Mocksville Tourism Development Authority (MTDA) and Davie County Tourism for providing a grant to support this year’s event.

“If you want to come downtown, we welcome you. Please park your vehicle downtown or in the parking lots on side streets. Once the roads are closed, no one (even local residents) will be able to gain access. Our primary focus is to provide a safe place for kids and their families to enjoy Halloween.”
