Kelly C. Funderburk, Register of Deeds, along with Davie County Veterans Services, would like to cordially invite all Veterans to join them for a kickoff breakfast at the Register of Deeds Office as they begin the “Thank a Vet” Photo ID Discount Program. Starting at 9 a.m., free biscuits, muffins, donuts, coffee and other goodies will be served in appreciation to all those men and women who have served in the US military. Upon recording a DD-214 (or proof of previously recording a DD-214 in Davie County), veterans can have their photo taken for a specific ID badge granting them access to tons of discounts and freebies all across Davie County.
