Veterans and community members are invited to Lambert Funeral Home’s Chapel for a special Veterans Day program on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 11 a.m.
This program is an opportunity for our community to honor and recognize Veterans for their selfless service to our great nation.
Hear from special guest speaker, US Navy Reservist Jeremy Gupton, who has served for 15 years and currently holds the rank Chief, E-7.
There will be patriotic music, as well as the presentation of colors by our local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America.
“This program was born out of the care and attention that Lynne Hicks, local attorney, gave to the veterans. She was the supporter and organizer of this event every year,” said Carl Lambert, Lambert Funeral Home owner and funeral director. “As many of you know, Lynne is addressing serious health issues at this time. As personal friends of Lynne, we are honored to take up the mantle and continue this tradition of honoring our veterans here in Davie County. We look forward to presenting a program that will honor our veterans and their importance in making America the great country that is.”
