Duke Energy needs to modify its facilities along Highway 158 near the round-about at Twins Way and Bermuda Run Drive to allow for the removal of the pole near the proposed Blue Heron Trail. The pole being modified currently resides in the landscaped areas between Highway 158 and Ivy Circle. For the crews to install the replacement pole they will need to set up and temporarily close Ivy Circle near the 100 Block of Ivy Circle. This work is being tentatively scheduled for the week of December 12. This is all dependent upon Utility Location Services completing work and weather conditions.Duke Power will communicate a solid start date as time gets closer. It is anticipated that work will start around 8:30 and be completed around 4:00 pm of that same day. The Town will continue to provide residents updates as work progresses.
