Most energy providers transitioned to direct deposit payment system. Providers are now receiving payment directly from the State for the Crisis Intervention (CIP) and Low Income Energy Assistance Programs (LIEAP). Due to this change in the payment process, it is taking energy providers longer than normal for energy providers to credit payment to customer's account.
