5.4% of citizens unemployed in Davidson County in 2021

Davidson County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.4% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 4,250 people out of the 168,002 living in Davidson County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Davidson County has decreased compared to the 5.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Davidson County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.2%.

Of the 75,176 people who had a job during that time, 135 were employed in the Armed Forces and 75,041 belonged to the civilian labor force.
