Carolina University Men's Basketball team participated in the NCCAA South Region Tournament, facing Clinton College on March 3rd. The Bruins ended their regular season with a record of 14-12, while the Golden Bears had an impressive 20-1 season. In their previous encounter, the Bruins were defeated by Clinton but entered this game with renewed energy and control.

The match began with both teams exchanging baskets before Carolina University (CU) took an early lead with an 8-2 run, bringing the score to 17-11. Clinton managed to catch up, tying the game at 18-18 and again at 20-20. The Golden Bears then gained a nine-point advantage at 37-28. However, CU responded with a 9-0 run to tie the score at 37-37, going into halftime level at 44-44.

The second half was equally intense, with several ties including one at 72-72. Clinton eventually pulled ahead with a decisive 12-0 run and maintained their lead until the end of the game, concluding with a final score of 78-92 against CU.

Despite not advancing to the NCCAA National Tournament, Carolina University displayed strong teamwork throughout their final game. Micah Cooper ended his career on a high note, contributing 20 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists. D'Shun Edwards added twelve points along with four assists and three rebounds. Amarie Elijah-Kirby and Vladimir Vibert each scored ten points; Vibert also secured six rebounds alongside Cameron Parker, while Ethan Bell collected five rebounds for the team.
