Carolina University Baseball hosted Columbia International University for a doubleheader on Thursday in Mocksville, NC. The Bruins emerged victorious in both games, winning the first 6-4 and the second 2-1.
In the opening game, Alexiel Delgado scored first for the Bruins with a home run. William Darder contributed with a double in the fourth inning, securing an RBI. Tanner Bray recorded ten putouts for Carolina University during this match.
The second game saw Leland Brown reach first base due to an error by CIU's third baseman. Danny Gonzales then hit a home run, earning two RBIs for his team. This victory allowed the Bruins to win three out of four games in consecutive doubleheaders against their South Region opponent.
