Carolina University Softball faced a challenging conclusion to their regular season, experiencing two defeats against Montreat College's Cavaliers in a doubleheader on Saturday.
In the first game of the series, Carolina University ended with a score of 7-11. Notable performances included seniors Kalea Bolch and Grace Johnson, who each contributed home runs for the Bruins. Bolch added four RBIs and one double during this match. The pitching responsibilities were handled by Brooks Danielle and Alexis Wynne.
The second game saw a promising start for the Bruins; however, the Cavaliers managed to turn the tide in the final inning, securing a 9-10 victory. During this match, Grace Johnson achieved a triple alongside earning a double and one RBI for her team.
