Carolina University softball loses doubleheader against Bluefield

Carolina University Softball faced Bluefield University in a doubleheader at home on Thursday. The Lady Bruins were unable to secure a victory, losing both games with scores of 4-7 and 1-8.

In the first game, Danielle Brooks pitched for seven innings and achieved four strikeouts. Grace Johnson contributed with one triple, one double, and four hits.

During the second game, the Bruins managed to score one run in the bottom of the sixth inning. This was due to a double from Kourtney Cox that brought home their only base runner.

Looking ahead, the Lady Bruins will play away against Paine College on Saturday, April 6th in another doubleheader.
