The Carolina University Women's Volleyball team has received recognition from the Continental Athletic Conference for their recent performances. Two players have been awarded weekly honors following a challenging week of matches.
Kamra King was named Setter of the Week after averaging 4.18 assists per set across three matches, accumulating a total of 46 assists. Her most notable performance occurred during a 3-2 victory against William Peace University, where she recorded 21 assists. Despite subsequent losses to Johnson C. Smith University and Salem College, King contributed with 13 and 12 assists in those matches, respectively.
Rebecca Walker earned the title of Defensive Player of the Week due to her outstanding defensive play. Walker achieved a total of 36 digs, averaging 3.27 digs per set throughout the Bruins' week that ended with one win and two losses. Her efforts were particularly significant in the match against William Peace, where she secured 17 digs to aid in the team's victory. Additionally, Walker recorded 12 digs in the game against Johnson C. Smith.
