Carolina University women's basketball defeats Spartanburg Methodist

The Carolina University Women's Basketball team achieved a victory against Spartanburg Methodist College in Winston-Salem, NC. The Bruins won with a final score of 67-56.

After experiencing challenges in their previous three games, the team showed renewed energy and determination on their home court. The first half saw both teams exchanging leads multiple times. However, the Bruins gained momentum in the second half, outscoring the Pioneers in both the third and fourth quarters.

Keyani Jackson played a crucial role by recording a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Le'Asia Matthews also made significant contributions with a game-high of 24 points.

The Bruins are set to face Point University at home on December 18th, with the game starting at 3:00 PM.
