Carolina University's men's volleyball team secured a win against St. Andrews University in Laurinburg, NC. The Bruins won the match in four sets with scores of 22-25, 25-22, 26-24, and 25-22.
The Bruins initially struggled in the first set, falling behind 19-23. They managed to close the gap to 22-23 after a timeout but lost the set due to a service error and an ace by the Knights.
In response, Carolina University came back strong in the subsequent sets. Darren LoweGaillard was instrumental in their offensive efforts, achieving 10 kills and maintaining a hitting percentage of .400%. Setter Kai Jamerson supported with 29 assists.
On defense, Wesley Diggs led with six digs. The team's aggressive serving also played a crucial role in their victory. Friedrich Hall contributed four aces and Jashawn Sykes added three.
