FOIA Request to Davie County Election Department Regarding Information on Upcoming Election Candidates on February 5, 2025.
In our continued efforts to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at South Winston Salem News have sent a request under the North Carolina Public Records Law, G.S. §132-1., to the Davie County Election Department. The request specifically seeks information about all candidates running in the upcoming election.
The details we have asked for include each candidate's first, middle, and last names; the office they are running for; the jurisdiction of that office; and their party affiliation. We have also requested contact information for each candidate, including their address, phone number, and email address.
