Thomasville student earns runner-up prize in Rotary Club speech contest

Thomasville High School student John Vasquez demonstrated his public speaking and leadership skills at the Thomasville Rotary Club Jim Armstrong Four Way Test Speech Contest. The school announced that his speech earned him the $150 runner-up prize.

In a statement, the school expressed pride in Vasquez's achievement: "TCS is proud to announce that his compelling speech earned him the $150 runner-up prize."

Vasquez was pictured with Diane Roberts, Director of CTE; Dr. Quincy D. Williams, Superintendent; Mae Witherspoon, CDC; and Kevin Wilder, Social Worker.
