One More Night: The Phil Collins Experience at the Brock

1morenight

Davie County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Phil Collins is a revolutionary musician whose iconic vocals and instrumental talent has captivated listeners of all generations through both solo performances and the awe-inspiring band Genesis. Now, attendees of One More Night can experience a live performance recreation of the renowned Grammy award winning artist.

The concert will be held October 23, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. This concert is part of the Seasons of Applause series at the Brock Performing Arts Center, located at 622 N. Main St. in Mocksville. Tickets are on sale now!

The respect and attention to detail in the reproduction of Collins’ unique tone is incredible; fans and newcomers to Collins’ musical library will be astonished at the live performance as if it were Collins himself.

“We are really looking forward to performing in Mocksville as a few of us have family that live fairly close and will be traveling to the show…. I get to play the iconic drum fill during ‘In the Air Tonight’ at every show. I still get chills from watching the audience air drum along with me,”  said Charlie Green, lead drummer for One More Night. “And yes, our ‘Phil’ not only looks and sounds like the original, he also plays drums along with me!”

The tribute band has been together for three years now, and has always had a passion for the sound and delivery of Collins’ music. Classic songs from both Genesis and solo Collins’ arrangements will be performed together in a show you won’t want to miss.

You can purchase individual tickets by visiting the Brock Performing Arts Center’s box office Monday-Friday from 12-5 p.m., by calling the box office at 336-751-3000, or at https://daviearts.org/concerts/.
