From NC DOT: Nighttime Lane Closure on I-40 in Davie County
One of two lanes of I-40 W between MM 179 and MM 175 will be closed from 7 PM to 7 AM daily until approximately 7/31 for milling and paving operations. Please see link for the most up-to-date information.
As a side note: Though the lane closures are expected to be during the nighttime/evening hours at this time, use caution when traveling through this area as there are "drop offs in pavement" and other construction equipment in the area even when the lane closure is not active.
