Carolina University's baseball team ends season as regional runner-up

Carolina University Baseball concluded its season as the regional runner-up after a series of competitive games against Columbia International University and Toccoa Falls College. The team reached the championship game but narrowly missed securing the regional title.

In their first game, the Bruins faced Columbia International University. Despite an early lead from a home run by Senior Bryan Deegan, they fell to a 1-3 defeat after the Rams responded with three runs. This loss marked their first in the tournament, but they remained contenders in the double-elimination bracket.

The second game saw Carolina University facing Toccoa Falls College. The Bruins took an early lead with four runs in the first inning, aided by Deegan's single that brought in two runs. The game was tied at 7-7 by the bottom of the sixth inning, but the Bruins surged ahead to win 12-8, advancing them to the championship match.

In a decisive doubleheader for the regional title against Columbia International University, Carolina University needed two victories. They won the first game 6-3 with strong performances from Leland Brown and Jase Brooks. However, they were shut out in the second game with a score of 0-5, ending their postseason journey.
