Carolina University Women's Volleyball team extended their winning streak to five games after defeating Ferrum College in Winston-Salem, NC. The Bruins aimed to maintain their momentum following a victory against Regent University on Senior Night.
The first set was competitive, with the Panthers challenging the Bruins' lead. Despite Ferrum College's offensive efforts, the Bruins managed to play solid defense throughout the set.
In the second set, Nicole Leazza's aggressive serves helped the Bruins gain a significant lead. They capitalized on errors from Ferrum College and secured the set with a 25-19 score.
Kammi Naude played a crucial role in the third set with her blocking and offensive skills. The Bruins won this set 25-20, aided by another error from Ferrum College.
The fourth set saw Karli Totel and Sarah Elizabeth making impactful plays that increased the Bruins' lead. Hayley Stull concluded the match with a decisive kill, ending it at 25-19 in favor of Carolina University.
The team is scheduled to play Spartanburg Methodist University at home on October 29th for their Dig Pink game at 6:30 PM.
