Carolina University Women's Soccer team faced Warner University in the NCCAA Regional Tournament Championship on Friday in Winston-Salem, NC. The Bruins fought hard but could not overcome the Lions.

In the first half, the Lions took an early lead, leaving the Bruins trailing 0-1 at halftime. Despite this setback, Carolina University's team remained hopeful of leveling the score after the break. However, Warner University scored two quick goals in the second half, extending their lead to 0-4.

Ashley Sanchez provided a moment of hope for the Bruins by dribbling past the Lions' defense and scoring unassisted, bringing the score to 1-4. Unfortunately for Carolina University, they couldn't build on this momentum, and Warner University secured a victory with a final score of 1-4.
