Thomasville City Schools has announced that Mr. Ronnie Hewitt has been named the 2025 Burroughs Wellcome Fund Piedmont-Triad Region Principal of the Year. The announcement was made during a surprise ceremony attended by former North Carolina Principals of the Year, school board members, Superintendent Dr. Quincy Williams, representatives from NCDPI, and students and staff from LDES.
Mr. Hewitt will now advance to compete for the title of 2025 North Carolina Principal of the Year.
