The Carolina University Women's Basketball team secured a win against Johnson & Wales University with a final score of 75-54. The game took place in Winston-Salem, NC, where the Bruins established an early lead that set the tone for their victory.
By halftime, the Bruins were ahead 38-25, thanks to strong performances from key players. Felesia Ondongo was particularly notable, contributing 10 points by the break and playing a crucial role on both offense and defense. Her overall performance included 24 points and seven rebounds, which proved too much for the Wildcats to counter.
Le'Asia Matthews also played a significant role in supporting the Bruins' offensive efforts with her contribution of 12 points. Despite attempts by Johnson & Wales to challenge them, the Bruins maintained control throughout the game.
