Seeking Bids – Town of Bermuda Run Juniper Pump Station and WWTP Removal

The Town of Bermuda Run is seeking bids for the decommissioning and demolition of its 0.193 MGD package wastewater treatment plant and the renovation of its influent pump station to deliver wastewater to Davie County’s regional system.

The project forcemain was installed under a previous contract. The current Contract will decommission and demolish old wastewater treatment facilities while raising the elevation of the historic influent pump station, regrading the site, providing new pumps pipe and valves; also providing a new generator, controls, SCADA and chemical addition building.

4 Inv to Bid In order to expedite the project, the Town is pre-purchasing and providing an emergency generator and automatic transfer switch for installation by the Contractor.

In the Agreement, Town has provided a contract provision that will designate unavoidable project delays due to “supply chain problems” as Acts of God that will extend the project time.

A mandatory Prebid Conference will be held at 2:00 pm in the Bermuda Run Commissioners conference room in the Town Hall on Tuesday, March 22 (3/22/22)  at 120 Kinderton Blvd, Suite 100 Bermuda Run, NC 27006.

Bids are due by 2:00 pm March 29,
