The Davie County Government Center at 154 Government Center Drive now has a Pharmaceutical Drop-box, a safe place to dispose of unwanted medications. Use the main entrance and an administrator at the front desk will direct you.
The Government Center is open Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 5 pm, the drop-box can be utilized during this time. Over-the-counter medications, prescription medications, prescription patches, prescription ointments, and vitamins, can be disposed of in the drop-box. Liquid medications and sharps/syringes CANNOT be accepted. Medications are destroyed by incineration.
