The Carolina University Men's Basketball team faced Mid-Atlantic Christian University on Tuesday night, seeking to overcome a previous loss this season. The match was closely contested, but the Bruins were ultimately defeated by the Mustangs with a score of 83-86.

In the opening minutes, the Mustangs took advantage of several turnovers by the Bruins to establish a 6-0 lead. A three-pointer from Aundree Polk broke this run and initiated a 7-2 rally for Carolina University, with all points scored by Polk. Despite scoring efforts, the Bruins struggled defensively against MACU's offensive drives. With seven minutes left in the first half, an offensive surge allowed CU to take their first lead.

The second half continued with frequent lead changes within its initial five minutes. At around thirteen minutes remaining, consecutive three-pointers from Christopher High and Cameron Buchanan provided crucial momentum for the Bruins, giving them an eight-point lead and prompting a timeout from MACU.

However, late misses by Carolina University and key plays by Mid-Atlantic Christian University shifted control back to MACU in the final two minutes. The Bruins could not recover before time expired.

Carolina University's next game is scheduled against Toccoa Falls College today at 5 p.m.
